Greetings!

'Ello. I'm new to these forums and thought I'd give a quick introduction. Sadly, I haven't created my character profile yet due to homework intervening, but it shall be up in due time. Meanwhile, my name is Loli. I'm a Veteran Text-based Role-Player of approximately 9 years, going on 10. I started in the old Blue and Gold zone chat rooms hosted by CompuServe and eventually migrated to FOL (If anyone knows what either of those are) where I advanced my RP "career."

I'm a College Freshman studying Computer Science and Web Design, soon to be studying Video Game Design once I get my Associates. I was referred to this site by Mike Ravencross. I met him at the college I attend. I have a Role-Play forum and chat room of my own that I may or may not be resurrecting at some point in the near future, pending my web design studies.

I hope to meet ya'll in short order and continue my RP Career here. It's nice to step out of retirement .

Not sure if you have or not (since i haven't checked y e-mail yet today) but in order to have a user account created in the chat room you'll have to go to either the ain site and click the link to reigster to go go to www.eldarus.net/chat.html and scroll down, it should have a little link that will allow you to click register now, or 'get one now!' and take you to the same fourm. Awww, thank you Amai. That's really sweet of you . I hope I'm a good addition to the community, as you say. It's so hard to find good RP sites now that the old schoolers have up and disappeared

I don't think the old schoolers disapeared....depending on how you define old school I'd say most of us just moved here!

Thank you for the welcome . By Old Schoolers I mean the veterans about 8-10 years ago that played. I didn't know them all, obviously, but the ones I did know (Close to 40 or so) up and disappeared once their website of choice took a dive.

Goin to tell us that name o that website??

I'm mostly referring to the old Blue/Gold Zones and FOL, the sites mentioned in my original post. Though, Blue/Gold Zones never went away, they just stopped being trafficked by the Veteran RPers. After FOL fell, though, there was Denny's, Nexus's Halycon, and several other sites that popped up (Kingdom's RPG, Dragon Lair, etc. etc.). Denny's and Halycon died out pretty quickly. I know Kingdom's is still up and so is Realms-RP. They're both highly trafficked still, but I'm not terribly fond of some of the regulars so I stopped going.
