The trouble about staying in a mountain is that one never knows what time it is. Vampire's already seem to have a strange morning and night routine, but in the total absence of the sun it's just as if they're normal humans. Normal humans that live for hundreds of years. . . and have inhuman attributes. . . and drink blood. It's really that last part that gets most people.

After many long days and nights of travel, the group of (hardly cheery) companions, Mika, Hana, Crimson, and Rynn, made it to the Hall of the Vampires. They were greeted, if you call being held at spear point a greeting, by one of the vampire princes himself, and offered entrance into the Inner Halls. The first chamber they entered was called The Hall of Greeting (Never very original, the vampires), and it was here that newly arrived vampires could relax after a long journey, speak of times past, and fill their hungry bellies with blood and meat. Tired from their journey, they were lead to their chambers and allowed to rest for as long as they like.

Sleep came easy for most in the halls. They were quiet and peaceful, especially the Quarters in which the vampires slept. There were no coffins to be seen, as they were an old myth passed down by paranoid humans (A vampire believes that you'll spend enough time in one when you're truly dead). Instead, Hammocks were strung up, and in some places even patches of straw were placed on the ground. Some vampires believed that they should sleep as their ancestors, the wolves, did. On the cold hard ground. Luckily, Mika had made sure that those weren't the vampire's tending to their rooms, and they were offered comfortable Hammocks in the meantime while their beds were made. That was the thing about Vampire Mountain. Everything was handmade from the materials provided by nature. Statues were made of stone and bones, furniture out of roughly crafted wood. Everything was rough and durable, no touch of design or artwork anywhere except for in the statues. If it was sturdy enough to support the banging fists of a drunk vampire, then there was no need for flourish.

When the group had rested enough, Mika led them all to the Hall of Perta Graten, where most vampires relieved themselves of waste and cleaned themselves of the dirt and grime from their travels. The toilets were nothing more than holes in the ground above a rushing stream, giving new meaning to the term 'Don't fall in'. It was a legitimate warning! Then there were the showers. . . Vampires rarely spoke of them, and some even seemed hesitant to admit they existed. When one set their eyes upon them, they understood why. The showers were individual waterfalls that emptied into a stream, all natural, and as cold as the frozen lands around them. Heating the water would bring suspicion to the very heart of their homeland, and if it was good enough for nature, well, then. . .

Now showered, fed, and clothed in whatever clothing they had picked for themselves (They had been lead to a Hall of Storage where clothing of all sorts was kept), they were free to roam the halls, and a guide had even been provided for them by Mika, who was to be busy in the Hall of the Princes for quite some time for that day.

A short vampire, even more so than Hana, with golden hair and blue eyes was to be their guide, and he was a rather cheery fellow

"Good afternoon! Or is it evening? never can tell in this place. . . My name is Michael, and I will be the one to show you the sites here at Vampire Mountain!"

Crimson, being the baby of the group, had longed to scour every inch of this place. He was full of energy and excited to get started so one could imagine his delight when they were confronted with the tiniest little fellow to be their guide. He had just come from the clothing storage ahead of the others and had to squat down before offering a little bow. "Hi, Crimson Tilsverd. Please, if it is not too, brash to ask. Are there places where one has, fun here?" His eyes spoke of the hope brimming in them, wide and shining, a perfect clear crisp green. Those eyes didn't just hope, no they demanded merriment. Should he live to some astonishing age, it might be hard to tell, he had been turned at a time that preserved some sweet enthusiasm and some stubborn ferocity that made him a true evocation of a teenager. Also, as Mika instructed, there was to be no thievery, so he had better find something to do..

Rynn had quickly dressed in warm wool clothing, the caverns quite cool at this time of year. She wasn't exactly thrilled to be there, nor had she found much that appealed to her of Vampire society. She wasn't one to keep a lot of creature comforts around her, but she did appreciate at least a moderate level of comfort. For one thing, since few vampires washed while in the halls, the stench of unwashed bodies and the perfumes that was used to cover it was irritating her nose. She didn't know how the others put up with it, as their sense of smell would be more powerful as full vampires.
Spotting Crimson talking to a tiny vampire, she walked towards them and nodded to the little fanged one. She wanted to ask if he could show her the way out, but held her tongue. It wasn't Michael fault that she had been dragged here against her will, simply introducing herself. "Rynn Arokh," she said with a small bow of respect. "What other sights are there?"

Vampire Mountain, eh? Hana wasn't too impressed. If anything, this place disgusted Hana. There was a sense of elitism here and a blatant disregard for personal hygiene (which completely grossed the half-'pire out). She mostly made her way around with her mouth closed, as it was best she just didn't say anything at all for risk of condemning herself and the others. Like Crimson, Hana too had been turned at a young age, and she also possessed many teenage characteristics (see also: stubbornness, flippancy, short-temperedness).
Hana just wanted to go home.
This whole task of being paraded by a panel of vampires who'd deem them acceptable or not was ludicrous. Not all vampires were such by choice. Hana hadn't been given a choice. And to keep Crimson alive, she hadn't given him a choice either. In all honesty, Hana was terrified they weren't going to pass their tests. Both she and Crimson had been turned at a fairly young age, which was something the vampires apparently didn't approve of.
Hana had been waging war internally for quite some time. Why would they punish the vampire for something that wasn't in their power?
Consumed by her thoughts, the silver-haired woman sighed loudly. It was then that she realized there was another person there, introducing himself to all of the others.
Absently and rather distantly, she muttered, "Hana Tachiban."

Michael looked at each of the occupants in the room in turn, those bright blue eyes so filled with cheer and ambition. Though it soon started to fade just a slight bit as he noticed a decline in enthusiasm between each occupant, one always worse than the former. He became rather nervous and shifted slightly where he stood, his hands behind his back.

"Well. . . There's The Hall of Art. . . The Hall of Feasting. . . The Hall of Ba Halen. . . The Hall of Sports. . ."

Crimson nodded calmly as the little cheerful fellow rattled off the various halls and he piped up excitedly. "Hall of sports, what kind? and feasting? You have to tell me about that." though undead he was Crimson still had typical teenage boy interests.
